November 8th 2017 Town of Bear Lake Meeting Mins.
Meeting was called to order at 8:15 pm by Chairman Paul Toft,
Meeting was noticed at the Town Shop, Chairmans house, Clerks Home and the Rice Lake Chronotpe.
Present Paul Toft Steve Schultz Linda Wiese and Pam Gannon, absent Dennis Willger
Meeting mins from the October board meeting were read by the clerk and accepted as read.
Public Appearances None
Town Road report Gravel has been put on the road near Poor Folks. Dug our Beaver Pond.
A permit for Rob Ostrum to trap beaver will be given Steve will take care of this.
Update on Town Truck Clint states that the box and the front hitch are on. Sander is being worked on. They are waiting for spot light and spot mirror and the front plow is not done. It is anticipated Rousars will be in done with the truck in the next couple of weeks and then it will go to Don Johnsons for hail repair.
Treasures report was given by Linda and accepted as presented. Oct. bills were read as paid and accepted as presented.
New Business: Approve the 2018 Town Budget. Steve makes a motion to approve the budget for 2018, 2nd by Paul no further discussion motion carried.
Approve the 2018 Levy at $224,573.00 Paul makes a motion to accept the levy 2nd by Steve no further discussion motion carried.
Gravel for 2018 will be on agenda for December
Payment of Bills
Next meeting is December 13th, 2017 at 7:00 pm
