January 13, 2016 Meeting Minutes Town of Bear Lake
Meeting was called to order at 8pm by Chairman Paul Toft, the meeting was noticed in the Rice Lake Chronotype, at the Town Shop and on the Town Web Page.
Members present, Paul Toft, Dennis Willger, Steve Schultz, Linda Wiese and Pam Gannon
Meeting minutes from the December 9th 2015 meeting were read by the clerk and accepted at read.
Public Appearances: None
Town Road Report: Clint states that the brakes are good on the truck but some other repairs were needed and was repaired today and is now running.
Clint states that because of the repairs that needed to be done to the truck, the roads are not in as good of condition as normal but will be back on in the AM.
Also, a new set of single chains were ordered from Rousars.
Application to ProMAxx for credit, Dennis makes a motion to apply for credit and 2nd by Steve, no further discussion, all in favor motion carried. Pam will fill out the credit application for ProMaxx and submit.
Treasurer’s report was given by Linda an accepted as presented.
December bills were read by Clerk and accepted as read.
Old Business: Clint will be working on the dividers prior to the February Election and will also put up the handicapped sing.
New Business : Election worker training will be on February 3rd at Rice Lake City Hall, Currently 5 workers and the Clerk are signed up to go. Pam will check availability for 2 additional workers as they did not respond prior to payment being sent.
MShaw meeting, Barron CTY will no longer be providing this training as they are using their insurance co.
Fire Dues: Pam will complete the Clerks self-certification.
Emergency Operations Plan: Todd Vold from Barron CTY will be forwarding scanned copy from 2011 and we will work on at February meeting.
Payment of bills
Next meeting February 10th at 8 pm.
