February 22, 2012 February 2012 Monthly Meeting
February 22, 2012. The regular monthly board meeting was called to order by Chairperson Paul Toft. The minutes of the January 18, 2012 meeting were read by the clerk. Minutes approved as read. Notice of the meeting was posted in the Rice Lake Chronotype, Town Shop, and town web page. All members present.
Treasurer’s and road reports were given. Brushing has been completed on 24th Avenue. The old tractor will be for sale with a base price of $28,000. There are a couple people from the township who have expressing interest in it. Updated trip fund maps were sent to Madison by Paul Toft. Lake Area Sanitation requested the use of town roads during road bans. A motion was made by Dennis Willger for Paul Toft to sign the request. Steve Schultz seconded the motion and the motion was carried.
The resolution for the Resolution of Town Property was read and proper notification and waiting period had been allowed. A motion was made by Steve Schultz to accept the resolution and the motion was seconded by Dennis Willger. The motion was passed and the resolution will be forwarded to the County Register of Deeds.
