May 10, 2011. The regular monthly board meeting was called to order by Chariperson Paul Toft. The minutes of the April 12, 2011 meeting were read by the clerk. Minutes approved as read. Notice of the meeting was posted in the Rice Lake Chronotype, Town Shop, and town web page. All members present.
Treasurer?s report was given.
Bob Moe was present to report on the Bear Lake ?No Wake? project. The bouys have been put in by Russ Fell and volunteers from the high school.
The town truck is final with all additions done. The old town truck will be put up for sale through silent bids. Steve Schultz will put the ad in the paper and bids will be opened at the June 2011 meeting.
The 2011 road tour was reported on. 2011 road projects include chip sealing 24th Avenue from Hwy V West and 17th to 18th streets. Crack sealing will be done where needed and soft oil will be put on one section on 29 ? st.
Steve Schultz reported on sale of town property. Some of the adjacent land owners have yet to respond. Decision will be made at June meeting on definite answer.
The yearly review of the ATV trails in Bear Lake township was done. A motion was made by Steve Schultz and was seconded by Dennis Willger to allow the ATV trails open the 2011 / 2012 season. The motion was carried.
2011 Joint Powers Agreement was signed by Paul Toft.
